Huaqiang Group signed the Agreement with Jingzhou Municipal Government to Cooperate in Building Cultural and Tourism Holiday Resort

August 15, on the Hubei-Guangdong Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair in Shenzhen, Huaqiang Group signed an cooperation agreement with Jingzhou Municipal Government. The both parties will cooperate on the establishment of Jingzhou Jinan Ecological Cultural and Tourism Zone. Huaqiang and Jingzhou will stick together on the establishment of Ecological Cultural and Tourism Resort. The project covers an area of 6500 mu (about 1071 acres) and the total investment is about 23 billion yuan. It is estimated to be launched in 2020. Huaqiang Chairman Liang Guangwei attended the event and signed the agreement. Hubei Provincial Committee Deputy Secretary, Hubei Governor Wang Xiaodong has met with Huaqiang Chairman Liang before the signing ceremony. They deeply discussed the details of cooperation and reached an agreement.

During the meeting, Huaqiang Chairman Liang gave a brief introduction of Huaqiang Group and highlighted the progress of Huaqiang projects in Hubei and the future investment plan. He emphasized that the group would actively participated in the construction and development of Hubei Province. The group would further deepen the cooperation with Jingzhou City as well as seeking cooperation opportunities in Yichang, Wuhan and other cities.

After listening to the report of Chairman Liang Guangwei, Governor Wang Xiaodong highly praised the achievements made in the reform and development of Huaqiang Group. It is believed that Huaqiang Group is one of the most successful enterprises in the process of transformation and upgrading from "manufacturing to high-end service and innovation". Hubei has good political ecology, investment environment and human resources, and now has now entered the period with various business opportunities. He hoped that Huaqiang Group could take advantages of Hubei Cultural resources and promote the development of Hubei Cultural industry. Hubei Provincial Government together with other municipal governments in Hubei will fully support Huaqiang projects, ensure the smooth progress of the projects and achieve mutual benefits.
